Quercus Planning Group

Quercus Planning Group is a team of 4 graduate students from the Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program at Portland State University. As part of the final requirements of the MURP program, students work in small groups to develop a project for a community client of their choice. The Planning Workshop gives students the opportunity to explore specific interests and interact with real planning challenges to produce a final product that gives back to the community and prepares students for their planning careers.

Quercus is the latin name for oak tree, which pays tribute to the heritage oak trees found in Willamette Park, with some that are over 300 years old. For more information about the team members, please click below.
